Brian Mew is the Director of the Benjamin Rush Institute. He has previously served as Director of Advocacy and Government Relations for the South Orange County Economic Coalition, Co-Founder of Advance Fundraising Strategies, Development Manager at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Senior Communications Consultant with Quimby Group Consulting. Brian holds a Masters in Business Administration from Chapman University and a Bachelor's in Communications, Entertainment and Tourism from California State University, Fullerton. Brian serves on the Board of Directors for the California Republic Leadership Academy. In 2022, Brian was selected as a Generation Liberty Fellow by the State Policy Network, a program which recognizes rising leaders from organizations across the country that are empowering communities through local policy solutions. As a young man, Brian earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 737 in San Clemente, California.
